We moved to Vanuatu in Nov. 2002, and completed the New Testament in July
2011. We'll be taking a furlough in 2012, and are waiting to see where
God leads us from there.
Life
in the village is quite remote. There are no shopping
malls or restaurants or movie theatres on the island. Just some stores
with tuna and rice and cooking essentials like oil and flour. We do have
some amenities: We have solar and generated power. We collect rain water and
pump it through our house for drinking and bathing (and for the toilet). We have
also recently set up a radio-phone, so we can even get emails in the village!
